7 Dispute Resolution Scrimmages Good leaders are good mediators. Your gift of any amount will help the Scheinman Institute host alternative dispute resolution scrimmages where students hone their skills, receive coaching from outstanding alumni who work in the feld, and use cost-effective video-streaming technology to compete against teams from other universities. Worker Institute Research Fellowship ILR's Worker Institute offers intensive research fellowships to undergraduate students. Additional funds are needed for research travel, feld research expenses and conferences. High Road Fellowship, Buffalo Your gift of $5,000 will pay for one High Road Fellow in Buffalo, NY. This is an intensive two-month summer fellowship in which students work with local organizations to transform a Rust Belt economy to a green economy. Partner organizations rave about the students' contributions to economic development ranging from youth participation in the arts to urban farming and local business development. Global Service Learning The world of work has become increasingly global and ILR has expanded its reach to locations in Asia, Africa and South America. Cross-cultural, hands-on experiences allow students to put theory into practice while collaborating with diverse stakeholders to address social problems in global communities. Your gift of $5,000 will give one student this invaluable learning experience. Faculty Research Faculty research embodies one of the school's pivotal assets. ILR's core research provides the basis for understanding how work and social communities can be improved, and where members of the public policy arena can learn best practices. Stipend funds are needed to help recruit the world's leading work-focused experts to ILR's faculty. Your gift of $10,000 will help one faculty member conduct summer research. This gift supports their research effort and helps to ensure that ILR remains the best school of its kind. EDI LEAD The Hock E. Tan and K.
