Dear Alumni and Friends,
I am excited about this debut issue of Advance. I hope
you enjoyed it too.
It represents the progress being made by the ILR School
as a whole.
As we put this issue together, the challenge was not
coming up with ideas, but keeping it to a reasonable
size. As I have said many times, ILR is so amazing; it
sells itself.
In concept, Advance helps us continue finding ways to
keep you informed about our people and programs.
Whether you attended ILR in the 1950's and took a class
in a Quonset hut from Alice Cook, or you graduated
last May and are now working at your first job, ILR has
changed since you were here. We want to keep you up
to date.
The magazine complements our electronic Alumni and
Friends News, our website, our Facebook pages,
Twitter feeds (such as @ILR_alumni), LinkedIn groups,
webcasts, regional receptions, the ILR Review and our
other outreach activities.
So, stay tuned. Please send along your feedback. We'd
like to hear from you, so don't be shy. ILRies never are!
Thanks for your support of the ILR School.
